Oh gawd, so many things. I would have worked harder at school, gone to uni, not married at an early age, invested in property, not started smoking and stopped my mum smoking, had more confidence in myself and taken chances. |

Hi Sandra If I could turn back time same as one of the other members I would'nt have started smoking but then in those days (Many Years ago lol) it was Socially acceptable now we feel like Lepers. Also I wish I had learnt to sew. My sewing teacher hated me with a vengance, took me three years to make a blouse. Oh well at least I can knit and crochet. Taught myself that didn't need a grumpy old teacher. Other than those things I think I'm reasonably happy with my lot. More money would help lol Regards Jackie |

Easy! Would have gone to Live Aid instead of Bruce Springsteen - both concerts at Wembley and could only afford one - what a terrible mistake to have made! Cherry - my mum learnt in her 50's in the baby pool with other adults - GO FOR IT!!! Maz. XX |

I would spare my children the depression I suffered when they were young! I would have left my first husband when I first realised I didn't love him and spared both of us years of torture! Julie xxx |

I don''t know that I would do anything differently, i have had a very good life so far, good marriage, lovely kids, super grandchildren. i suppose i could say i'd work harder at school, only got 2 O levels, but then I got 3 more O levels and 2 A levels and a GCSE as an adult so i got them anyway. didn't want to go to uni, got the job I wanted. Nope, happy with my life, couldn't do any better. Maybe I wish I had started on the F Tree when my Grandmother was alive, that would ahve helped a bit with the brick walls I now have but that is all. Would pluck up the courage to ask my very austere paternal grandmother about my grandfather who was lost overboard in 1911 from a merchant navy vessel. Would want all the info on him & his family ,who i have now discovered were german . cant go back any further on that side as no idea where or when they came from in Germany. Gran used to pay us 'STATE VISITS' about every three years and apart from aknowledging our greeting she wouldnt speak to us kids as 'children were to be seen & not heard'. Apart from that i wouldnt do anything different as I was lucky & met my soulmate at 18 & married him at 20,& we still best mates 48 years later. Would have liked tho for some of the Cr.p our daughter has suffered over the years not to have been so traumatic. Shirley |
