The show off Leo is in me to Paul if the answer is going to be yes go for it she'll love the down on the knee bit too though so may be you can organize a game after dinner , I don't know charades or guess the name of the movie' Indecent Proposal ' or something and get on your knees and she won't twig for a minute that you are not just playing the game, have you got the ring ??? do something flashy fireworks are good, fortune cookies and set hers up with proposal in it, just something different, would have loved my hubbie to be this romantic we were at the greyhound races and lined up to get our dinner at the buffet and he said 'Well we might as well get married ' I'll never forget it so would have been nice somewhere more romantic or some thought put into it , either way I wish you and ? all the very best in your life together Love Lara

Paul, my ex fiance proposed to me in front of all my friends and family at my 21st birthday do, everyone knew accept me, I remember saying only a few months before hand after seeing someone on tv proposing to their gf in front of friends and family that if he ever did that to me I would kill him and that if he did ever propose to me that I would want to be just the two of us, but he didnt and now hes my ex (not for that reason though :-) ) Karen Ps good luck in what ever way you choose to do it :-)

Paul, I'm 65.........but I can still remember ROMANCE. Do not ask in public, she may feel a bit embarassed. Also, it will rob her of the thrill of telling people herself. It's an important moment in a girls life. I hope we are talking Marriage her?? Deanna
