Lisa, I couldn't agree with you more. Sitting here crying my eyes out and wondering how so called human beings can carry out such callous acts. As well as the Olympics could be because we are hosting G8. Jean x.

Just heard from my daughter, she works for police in Eustan,her office is being used for casualties until the ambulance can get them to hospital.l'm trying hard not to panic here

This is so frightening - my daughter told her partner that 2 buses had exploded,but only one been reported on tv -how callous can some poeple be,spose with everything going on G8 etc we are a sitting target lets pray that there are no more explosions

they seem to think the major incident was not at tavistock/russell sq but in fact Kings cross. Been mentioned that trains have collided at Kings cross. Bus have not been suspended in central London as well as tube. the series of explosions lead them to believe that as they all happened together it is too mch of a coincidence to not be human activity. the fact that the incidents happened above and below ground, at the same time, at a time to cause most disruption, leads them to believe this.

its just been announced that the busses have now been suspended aswell so much for mr livingstone trying to get everyone to use public transport. i dont think people will bother now. its too risky susie

Most of the Security has been at Gleneagles and Edinburgh. It would seem an ideal time for a Terrorist attack. I don't think the Olympic announcement would have had any significance. As to the soot, the tunnels, especially the older ones are covered in it. Some of the lines used steam engines in the early days. Any explosion is going to dislodge it.
