I was baking (with children) in a tiny kitchen at school this morning, temps must have gone well over 30 degrees with oven on - I was poleaxed! Finally cooled down tonight, but not planning ANY exertions tomorrow! Lily |

I have found a good use for the heat I am defrosting the freezers. Then I can tidy them up and go buy more goodies couldn't put anything in for ice. Small one in house nearly done then swop stuff over and do the garage when my little helper isn't around!!!. Glad I thought of it is melting quick it is a job I hate. Germaine xx |

Its been pretty hot down here in gosport, but thankfully we have the sea breezes, I have however just returned from a trip out to the Weald and Downland Museum( you can do that when your retired lol), and it was b----y hot there, I got quite envious of this large porker wallowing in a mud hole, had to crawl back to the car, drive home with the air con on and treat myself to a large whiskey with ice, Yes! lifes hell these days. In my back garden (Exeter) it is 31 deg and only 10 am, so after taking hubby for check up at clinic off to the beach, how glad I am having the chance to work flexi time. :))) Bev |

Its a bit cooler today in Liverpool, which is a shame I love it hot and stuffy espeically in work, where we have no air conditioning but loads of windows open. To all those people abroad please please send some more lovely hot weather over, the hotter the better. Im very jealous of you. Yvonne |
