Well now, I have a grandmother born in Islington and a grandfather who lodged there briefly. The grandmother's mother worked as a cook in the Hampton Court area so we are definitely connected with royalty! nell |

Hi David and Lynda, I was born in Islington and can trace my ancestors back quite a way there. I would like to think I might be related but I am afraid I am too common. Perhaps I come from the line born the wrong side of the blanket. Jean x. |
