I've noticed recently that i seem to have become invisible! If i've upset any of you...... i'm sincerely sorry. I thought it was my imagination at first, but as it's been pointed out to me by another member, it can't be. I'm gonna take a bit of time out from the boards......Take care....... c.....x

Hold on, What makes you think you have upset anyone? And who is in the know so much they can say you must be right. We all get ignored sometimes. I have put a few threads up recently which have sunk without trace with at the most 3 posts on them. Not all threads capture the imagination so don't get paranoid over it. Best wishes Ann glos

Did the person pointing it out have your best interests at heart or was it merely a stirring exercise in order to upset you unnecessarily? We all have times when our posts get passed over or our threads get no replies.

I can honestly say that the other member has nothing but my best interests at heart and would never never do anything to upset me on purpose.,...... she was just looking out for me and coz i'm an emotional wreck this is how i reacted lolol c x

Hi C, Then I apologise to your friend. Things have been a bit tense on here lately. It's a shame that it seems to be the members who can least cope with stress right now who get upset. Hi Claire, As a mere man I wish to say that you haven't upset me in any way. X Invisible.... I know what you mean. I've posted one or two useless threads that peeps have ignored. As others have said, not all topics capture ones imagination. Sometimes a topic's title makes you click! Others look boring, and you don't bother...pity really, cos they might be interesting. At the risk of getting my head kicked in, I reckon that a number of people are rather too sensitive to the comments of others. I don't mean you, Claire, since your complaint refers to the opposite point, i.e. no-one added to your topics. These threads are only the equivalent to a discussion over your garden fence, or a pint at the local, at the end of which the participants don't normally fall out, surely! We are, in the main, total strangers, so how can a criticism be felt to be personal! Just call me naive, if you like!! Brian, ;<O

Brian, Thank you for your message. You raise a valid point. I like to think a lot of it is taken out of context due to the fact that is is the WRITTEN word and not the spoken and therefore has no tone. I'll not be kicking your head in sweetie lol c x

I have had replies from some wonderful people on Genes, but do understand sometimes you feel invisible, as sometimes I have lots of replies and then nothing, but it is probably no more than another title caught a lot of attention at the time. Try to just listen to the nice replies you do get, you sound a sweet sensitive person, be happy.
