Gill, there is no point in me telling you not to worry.......... It is your job as a mother (or in-law) to worry, but she will be fine. I have a couple of young friends, and she had to have a c.section each time (3 babies). The first time, they were told off by the surgeon...................... FOR LAUGHING! So that is how bad it was for her. The doctor needs them to stay quite still! Good luck and enjoy your baby. Deanna X

He should be fine, I have had 4 children but no cs. my brother in law didnt want to go in operating theatre so I did ,had to put on the greens and white wellies and I was probably more petrified than my sister, but the staff were wonderful with me and made me relax Best wishes Deborah
