Hi Susie! No, you're not soppy!! You're just a loving Mum & Grandma, & i'd have done just the same!!! That feeling of wanting to protect them never goes even when they're older. They'll be ok, i'm sure. Have a big mug of coffee & chat to us we'll try & take your mind off it, especially me as I will dig out all my brick walls for you to knock down!! lol!! I will keep you busy !! (((((hug))))))) Joan x |

Susie - You just cope with what they throw at you don't you? It's a great life for him out there. He's been pulled from the draw for residency so all's looking good. ....THEN once he's got that me and Phil could retire out there under the Relatives Scheme!...BUT what about daughter and grandaughter in Gloucester?.....I think I'll move to LA - I'll be in the middle then LOL Apart from a quick trip to Spain when I was 18 I hadn't flown, so I was terrified when we flew to NZ - I was fine. I even flew home without vallium! It was a 26 hour flight with a 2 hour stopover in LA. If I can do it - he can too! Magsxx |

Susie, as you know, youngest came here for a 'couple of weeks' back in January until the house was ready for a baby to live in!! Here we are in July!!!!!!! I'm gonna miss them dreadfully but at least I've seen Riley grow for those first few months. And it'll be great to have the front room back and be able to use all doors (haven't been able to use one of the doors to the front room because the cot was behind it). Life is being fairly good, (touch wood). How about you? Any date yet for seeing 'Ooooley'? :-)) |

Good for Terry, that's really great. Will look forward to your visit - I could even treat you to some of my cooking (decide for yourself if that's a threat or a promise LOL). Don't forget to have a look at some of the other little villages around that area, they are so beautiful. |
