I can honestly say I have not really got a clue, what they are all about. Although my sister is absolutley nuts about them. We have all of the Lord of the Rings DVD's and even my hubby has not got around to watching them yet. We have not watched one. Am I a strange person? Jenny

I haven't read them either, Jenny. I don't have young children or grandchildren old enough to read them. I have seen a couple of the movies, but they didn't interest me enough to read the books. Susan

Jenny Me too, and I haven't any interest in reading them either. I love Star Wars, Star Trek and the Lord of the Rings but Harry Potter books and films do not interest me at all :-( Maybe one day if I am bored and one of my lot are watching any of the films I may just watch them and be pleasantly surprised, but I am not going out of my way to see them. Must admit I haven't read them and quite honestly I don't fancy them - I'm not into wizards etc. or anything of that ilke. Still, to each their own and millions obviously seem happy with them.

No, Jenny, I've never read a Harry Potter book, nor has my son, although my husband is an avid fan. He's quite excited at the prospect of his copy of the latest one arriving in the post tomorrow. Although I've not read the books, I did enjoy the first and third Harry Potter films. I didn't go to the second one, as I tend to have nightmares about certain creatures that featured heavily in that story! CB >|<
