hi jeanette, yes, hubby went down to the school at 8.30 the next morning, and spoke to the headmistress. she was shocked, and she apologised. she said he is a young teacher [who is normally brilliant with the kids] and this would be a good learning aid for him... ahem. anyway, we are reassured it will not happen again. she told hubby while he was there , that alex- who is dyslexic to the point of not being able to read or write hardly at all [he is 9] did a test on verbal reasoning and scored 120- does this mean anything to anyone ??? all i know is , she told hubby it was a very high score. some things just make no sense , do they. my eldest son said' i always knew alex was a gobby s*d' lol. sue.
