What annoys me about our supermarkets, to read the signs to find out what is in the aisle, you have to GO to the aisle.. And No... Tesco do not have a site plan, because'' they are always moving stuff around'' Bob

Used to shop at Safeway and was very very satisfied .....taken over by Morrisons and hated it....cheap products tasteless and horrible...now shopping at Tesco...our store could be better but we are managing - fruit and veg good but can't understand why over 6 ailse are dedicated to drinks - and we have no deli - I hope it will improve. Supermarkets can be good but in the long run they restrict rather than enlarge our choice.....if a product doesn't sell to target it is removed

I think you will find Morrisons are trying to recover a massive loss in profits this would probably explain why its costing more plus they over stocked on items they cant sell lol and having to destroy them £6000 worth up to now and thats only at one warehouse. Paul

if we go out to the shops we normally pick right left or forward lol left is tesco , right is asda and forward is morrisons. most of the time we go to asda though. and when we can we do our shopping online as we live in flats and so much easier getting someone to carry all teh bags upstairs for us. its hard trying to juggle the bags and a wriggly 1 year old lol. i tried tesco online once and wasnt happy with the service we received. when we did get our delivery from there (about 3-4 hours late) the bloke went back out to his van and urinated against outside our block of flats. so that put me off them completely. annie 18 days left

I agree with Bendy - I find Asda the cheapest but it does get a bit repetitive going there every week so for a change I use:- Morrisons is reasonable but I don't think they have as much choice and the meat is awful. Tesco is expensive imho. Sainsburys is lovely but more expensive than Tesco. M & S is brill and if I could afford to I would shop there but you couldn't do your full weeks shop there. Debby

my Morrisons is fantastic always spotless well stocked shelves and very helpful staff at Xmas they came round all the queues with chocolates and it was a wonderful atmosphere my Tesco is crap staff always standing around chatting not very clean habits, like sneezing all over your food and licking their fingers to open the bags I could go on but wont. Morrisons for me every time.

Ah the good old days when one could chat to the local butcher ( and order meat for next week ) same wif fruit and veg , but my dad said times must change and so they have, for the better that is for debate. :-)

Have done my big shop at out of town Sainsburys since I passed my test. In between I used to buy bread/ milk etc at Safeway which is on my way home from work. After the big refurb to Morrisons the car park fee went up to £1-50 & you have to spend £10 to get your money back. I went in the first day after they opened saw the price, told them what I thought of them & have not been back since. There is a small Sainsburys in town so I make a little detour for the bread etc now. I find our Tesco & Asda stores too big, you need to set aside a couple of hours to go round & that would keep me off the boards too long!!!! Vivienne

I used to shop at Morrison,s up until 6 months ago. I now go to Tesco in town as it's much easier and I can have a wander round the town before I do the shopping Sarah, xxx

I like Morrisons cos they have good offers on unlike Asda, which is the closest to me and in our asda half the shelves are always empty. Yvonne

We dont have a Morrisons close enough, but if Im on the way back from Edinburgh,we will go to Morrisons.Usually go to Tesco as its only over the road.Occasionally shop at Asda which is about a 10 min drive.I find Morrisons to be the cheapest, followed by Asda, but the fruit and veg in Asda doesnt last very long. Sometimes do the weeks shopping at M & S as theres a huge Simply Food one not too far away.We can get a whole weeks shopping there, and the variety is as good as Tescos. Its very expensive but the quality is far superior than any of the others.Dont go there too often though lol Anna :-)

I normally do my shopping at Morrisons, and i agree with you all, the qualtiy of the fruit and veg is terrible, the bananas go black in about 3 days , and the carrots go mouldy in the same space of time....but its close by and convient...I did my last big shop on line for the first time 3 weeks ago with Asda, very impressed, i quite like that store, but the George area makes you spend more, and sainsburys which is even closer I use as a corner shop, on the way to work for papers etc, i think they are expensive and the shelves are always hlf empy ...Tescos is too far away in Durham ..... I really like Iceland and try to go there for frozen stuff etc... :D

I don't have a Morrisons near me but my daughter does and she says it's brilliant. I shop online at Tesco, saves me trundling loads of bags home. I also pop into the one near work at least 3 times a week for bits and pieces (always end up buying much more than I went in for!). I also use Sainsburys sometimes but only when my husband is with me as he prefers it. Lynne

Have used Morrisons occasionally, but, we have an Asda Walmart close by which is good, also Sainsburys and Tesco Extra so am spoilt for choice. However I do a 2 month shop on line with Tesco for all the large items such as Bottled Water, Juice, Toliet rolls etc and have it delivered it saves me humping heavy items. I also hate standing in supermarket queues so it suits me and only costs 3.99. Liz
