mum and dad came round last night with some really sad news. dads childhood friends grandaughter has had a stroke she is 28 years old!! she was driving her 2 small children, aged 2 and 4 back home from a shopping trip, along with her sister in law, when the stroke happened.she slumped across the wheel. i just thank god that her sister in law was with her or heaven only knows what could have happened. her name is debbie.she doesnt drink or smoke and eats healthily. why has it happened?its so unfair. i am waiting for some more news on her condition.the hospital were doing scans last night.she was paralysed all down one side . please say a prayer for debbie.thankyou susie..................UPDATE..ive just had a call from my mum.debbie has had an MRI scan which came back clear.also numerous blood tests, which also came back clear.her blood pressure is normal.there were no blood clots in her brain or anywhere else.she has got the feeling back down her left side of her body.the hospital have worked flat out all through the night doing every possible test, they are baffled. they have stated that it definately was a stroke and it was possibly caused by a migraine.this afternoon they are going to do the last 2 tests available.thankyou for all your prayers and thoughts.they really have worked.thankyou:) susie |

Susie, That's terrible news, and I'm sorry you and your family are having to deal with it. This young woman has everything on her side to help her make a full recovery: She's young, she has a loving family who support her, she knows her children need her so it will give her determination, and she has friends like you who are there for her. All of you around her must be strong, and positive when your with her, don't let her fall into dispair. My best wishes to you all. Maureen |

Susie, That is terrible. Like someone else has said, she was being watched over whilst driving the car. Lets hope that she will be watched over now in her battle to regain her health. Thinking of her family and friends, and looking forward to some good news.((hugs)) Love Jill xx |
