Hi Jackie, I like spending time with my other half and the kids (Very important when you work full time) and going for days out. I go swimming once a week and to aquafit which helps with the fact that I like eating out. I enjoy binge drinking too lol. Jack x

If so many people state reading as their hobby why haven't we got more in the book club??? Besides family history including trying to write my own history. My hobbies are: Gardening Walking card making photography reading letter writing (snail mail and e mail) collecting buttonhooks (although I don't add to the collection much now) cross stitch - when I have the time and/or am in the mood. Now I'm retired, I dont honestly know how I found the time to go to work. Its as if I'm trying to catch up on all the things I didnt get chance or the time to do before. Gardening- I have an allotment which is supplying me with nearly all my veggies at the moment. Woodworking- My present project is an English Longbow. Painting(Watercolours)with the occassional oil or pastel thrown in, mainly old sailing ships. Walking the dogs (compulsary, they think I need the exercise) One more thing I'm about to embark on Tai Chi classes with my wife, cant wait to start on the sword bit?????? Len PS If I survive????

Most of my spare time (I work full-time) is taken up with my charity work and studying for the professional exams that I'm currently doing. Tied in with my charity work, I do a lot of 'craft things' such as card making, embroidery, making bits to sell, as well as baking hundreds of cakes every year. I rarely get the time, but I do like to snuggle up with a good book! Supposed to be planning my wedding at the moment, but just don't have the time! Jan

My hobbies include Listening to music, mainly classical but I like most other types, except rap, Elvis-type rock and country & western Adventurous cookery (finding my way into the kitchen is a good start) Gardening (depends on my aches & pains) Practical astrology (a potential futur career) Studying wildlife & the natural world (in my gardens, on country walks or TV) Watching TV documentaries (on a variety of subjects) Current affairs (I like to know what's happening in the rest of the world.) Sewing (a necessary evil at times, a satisfying hobby at others) Reading - factual texts, historical novels & humour, drawing & painting (rarely have time for those now) PC-based art (I'm learning all the time) Writing (and hoping somebody reads it) plus, lately, chasing after the London Gaynor Bear Relay participants who don't reply to my emails. Hi Chrissy No Perth, West Australia is the other side of the Country from Brisbane around 4,000 Kilometres away. Perth is a very isolated City infact the most isolated in the World. I haven't been to Brisbane Queensland yet but I do have Brother in Law there that we are visiting next year Hope the show goes well for your Step Daughter Kindest Regards Jackie

Hi Jackie Like you it's Am Dram, though mostly plays for us apart from pantomimes. Chrissie x p.s. Not very good at Geography but west Australia isn't anywhere near Brisbane is it? I ask because my step daughter is in a dance show there at the moment (21-30th July) with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre. It's called 'those with Lucifer'. She has had ALL her hair shaved off and is covered in paint apparently:))
