I dont know all the details as yet, I only heard about it last night, and I am appalled, shocked and horified that they can send someone over her to abuse our kids as that is what he will do, issue a new picture of him, tag him and keep a very close eye on any personall change he makes to himself. These peope are sick, thet can NOT bea cured, they are treated with kid gloves, I say bring back hanging, or an eye for an eye.

I am absolutely appalled that this creature should be allowed his freedom. It seems to sum up all that is wrong with this country at the moment. We are far too liberal and tolerant with criminals. If you offend against the laws of a country then the punishment should fit the crime. In the case of this creature I would suggest that wherever he lives the people in the area should be informed. That should make his life fairly miserable. Jean x.

Hi Brian No he should not be allowed to go free in England. He was kept in custody here in Western Australia until he got on that plane. Our Justice system thought he shouldn't be allowed on the streets to offend again. He was only released from our prison system on conditions that he be returned to his country of origin, which unfortunatley happens to be England. Like I said before you should not have to put up with his behaviour. I do hope your Justice System see the error of their ways and keep him locked up until his death. Believe me he will offend again. He has done it on several occasions after having therapy. His wife must be sick to still have anything to do with the animal. Well animal is too nicer word Animals look after their young. These evil people should be tattoed or branded with a big P on their foreheads - they are not worth spitting on. I cannot express how much these paedophiles disgust and dismay me - they should definitely be castrated. Postive thoughts for all who have suffered or are suffering from these scumbags.

Len of the Chilterns Report 30 Jul 2005 23:30

Paedophilia is a condition for which there is no cure. Even castration is ineffective, especially in the rare cases of women. 8 bullets is a bit excessive though, one would suffice. len

As I understand it, there are scientists working on the possibility of a chemical solution ie an injection or medication that will address aberrant sex drives. Seems like a great solution to me, but it will be likely to open another can of worms regarding consent and usage. Mental health patients cannot be forced to take medication even though it is shown to calm violent behaviour. I imagine this will come under the same kind of category though I personally think there's an argument to say that there should be no choice - if a paedophile or other violent person wishes to live in the community, then they have a responsibility to submit to whatever makes them safe for others. 'Choice' doesn't really come into it - but it's still a topic wide open for debate.

Say 'lock him up and throw away the key' and someone will say 'why should the system pay for his keep'. Say 'monitor him for the rest of his life' and someone will say 'why should taxpayers pay for the monitoring system'. Say 'capital punishment should apply in these cases' and someone will say 'capital punishment is wrong'. People don't want any more immigration but Britian will burst at the seams if every British criminal was returned to her shores. There are no perfect answers, but I do agree that repeat offender paedophiles are extremely dangerous, not a lot different in mindset from serial killers and society MUST find a solution that everyone can live with - it hasn't yet though.

His family deny it. Quite a few of us pester social services on a regular basis but because we cannot give concrete proof (ie a video of him alone with the boys - I'm not kidding!) they say they cannot do anything about these children. Obviously the ss are involved because of his supervision order though. Hollow laugh.

Unknown Report 30 Jul 2005 20:26

bendy,i dont understand the situation regarding social services,as if he is left alone with young children, then surely those children would be put on the 'at risk' register, giving social services,a foot in the door. bryan.

Unknown Report 30 Jul 2005 20:12

We have a local paedo under supervision - he is always hanging around young boys. His own sister allows him to babysit her 3 young sons and the police are powerless to do anything about he because he has the 'right' to be in the home of a family member. The poor policeman in charge is so frustrated. Social services are worse than useless.

Grandpa Jim...I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. Our Government tried repeatedly to bring back a murderer who escaped to England prior to being caught here...he was picked up at the Airport. Despite repeated requests from Grenada to send him back, the British Government in its wisdom said no.....because we still have the Death Penalty!!! This man murdered his wife and threw her body off the cliff!! We have now retreived him from British hands and he is now in our prison awaiting trial!! We did send back 3 British women who were found guilty of drug smuggling but only because we had a hurricane and the prison had no roof!!!! As you have all said how can this man ever be trusted again! He should be monitored at all times. Jacquie xxxx

i'me afraid its a fact, that his type usually re-offend! while we wait for him to molest another child,he will get income support,a roof over his head, food in his belly, paid for again by the british tax payer. bryan.

The Aussies have a good idea. Maybe we also should send back to their own Country all non-indigenous criminals (It is another debate whether before or after a time in Prison. In my opinion the sentence should be served at their own Countries expense). Why should any Society have to put up with the dregs of another Society? Maybe then we may be able to afford the manpower to keep an eye on the undesirables in our Communities.

I must admit that Western Australlia is glad to get rid of him, but I feel so sorry for you all in England that you should have to be saddled with the worry of him. I agree with some of you that he should be put on a Desert Island in the middle of nowhere. Once a Child molester always a child molester in my eyes. I could never ever trust someone that did that to children even if they went through a programme to help them. I may be critisized by the DO-GOODERS but this is just my opinion. Hope they keep a good eye on the B--------- Regards Jackie

'He landed at Heathrow at 0700 BST. Excell was required to sign the sex offenders' register before being freed. ' So, he can go anywhere he likes and do anything he likes! He has commited a horrible crime, and when released on Parole, commited it again. Just because he's not well, they think it ok to let him loose on Britain. He'll probably just find the nearest kid :( How can any parent let their children out knowing this man may be waiting round the corner. I'm scared, and I don't have any yet.
