scares me to death it does trouble is, what part of the uk is he coming back to? Summer holidays are here and kids play out, my son at 10 has just earned the freedom to play footie over our nearest park, (with at least one friend with the condition they stick together) We all know what happened to Holly and Jessica, that diddnt stop what happened to them. (Being two of them) He should be made to wear an electronic tag for at least the next five years, and be under curfew like the other criminals this applies to. That at least will offer some reassurance to worried parents. Elaine x |

Truly frightening isn't it? I can understand Australia not wanting to keep him BUT wouldn't it be nice if there was a special island in the middle of nowhere that people like him and Gary Glitter could be sent to slowly starve to death? |

Just read all your comments and totally agree with all of you... a picture should be made available with him clean shaven too...but, I would not be surprised if he dyes his hair etc... coloured contact lenses... so easy done these days... and we will not know where he lives! The government will give him all the help he wants, all the money he wants... just like they did the bombers, and we all know what they did!! WOULD YOU RECOGNISE HIM... if he walked past you? Very, very worrying!! Anne :))) |

This goverment cant refuse him entry as he is still a British Citizen,,,,,, If they cant find him anywhere to live,I'll put him up for few hours,,,,,,,no pain no gain,,,,,,But the real thing is ,they have given him a low to medium risk surley ,low to 0 is a risk, and a risk that no parent should have the fear of living with;; Kay, Glad I am not researching that name,,,,,,30 on site,, |

'He landed at Heathrow at 0700 BST. Excell was required to sign the sex offenders' register before being freed. ' So, he can go anywhere he likes and do anything he likes! He has commited a horrible crime, and when released on Parole, commited it again. Just because he's not well, they think it ok to let him loose on Britain. He'll probably just find the nearest kid :( How can any parent let their children out knowing this man may be waiting round the corner. I'm scared, and I don't have any yet. |

I must admit that Western Australlia is glad to get rid of him, but I feel so sorry for you all in England that you should have to be saddled with the worry of him. I agree with some of you that he should be put on a Desert Island in the middle of nowhere. Once a Child molester always a child molester in my eyes. I could never ever trust someone that did that to children even if they went through a programme to help them. I may be critisized by the DO-GOODERS but this is just my opinion. Hope they keep a good eye on the B--------- Regards Jackie |

The Aussies have a good idea. Maybe we also should send back to their own Country all non-indigenous criminals (It is another debate whether before or after a time in Prison. In my opinion the sentence should be served at their own Countries expense). Why should any Society have to put up with the dregs of another Society? Maybe then we may be able to afford the manpower to keep an eye on the undesirables in our Communities. |

Grandpa Jim...I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. Our Government tried repeatedly to bring back a murderer who escaped to England prior to being caught here...he was picked up at the Airport. Despite repeated requests from Grenada to send him back, the British Government in its wisdom said no.....because we still have the Death Penalty!!! This man murdered his wife and threw her body off the cliff!! We have now retreived him from British hands and he is now in our prison awaiting trial!! We did send back 3 British women who were found guilty of drug smuggling but only because we had a hurricane and the prison had no roof!!!! As you have all said how can this man ever be trusted again! He should be monitored at all times. Jacquie xxxx |

We have a local paedo under supervision - he is always hanging around young boys. His own sister allows him to babysit her 3 young sons and the police are powerless to do anything about he because he has the 'right' to be in the home of a family member. The poor policeman in charge is so frustrated. Social services are worse than useless. |

bendy,i dont understand the situation regarding social services,as if he is left alone with young children, then surely those children would be put on the 'at risk' register, giving social services,a foot in the door. bryan. |

His family deny it. Quite a few of us pester social services on a regular basis but because we cannot give concrete proof (ie a video of him alone with the boys - I'm not kidding!) they say they cannot do anything about these children. Obviously the ss are involved because of his supervision order though. Hollow laugh. |

Say 'lock him up and throw away the key' and someone will say 'why should the system pay for his keep'. Say 'monitor him for the rest of his life' and someone will say 'why should taxpayers pay for the monitoring system'. Say 'capital punishment should apply in these cases' and someone will say 'capital punishment is wrong'. People don't want any more immigration but Britian will burst at the seams if every British criminal was returned to her shores. There are no perfect answers, but I do agree that repeat offender paedophiles are extremely dangerous, not a lot different in mindset from serial killers and society MUST find a solution that everyone can live with - it hasn't yet though. |
