I had some ostrich when I was in Mallorca. I've eaten snails, but they tasted of nothing but garlic. Recently husband and I ate at an Australian restaurant and had crocodile, kangaroo, shark and emu. The emu was rather like lamb. When I was a small child I remember being offered a pomegranite, which seemed VERY exotic at the time - mum's fruit salad was apples, oranges & bananas. I was so disappointed to find it was full of pips! Nell |

I'll try anything, we very often have octopus and squid when I'm home. Other gastronomic delights include Aligator Ostrich Camel Shark Snails Lotus roots And apparently about 8 spiders whilst sleeping. :o) Derek |
