I had some ostrich when I was in Mallorca. I've eaten snails, but they tasted of nothing but garlic. Recently husband and I ate at an Australian restaurant and had crocodile, kangaroo, shark and emu. The emu was rather like lamb. When I was a small child I remember being offered a pomegranite, which seemed VERY exotic at the time - mum's fruit salad was apples, oranges & bananas. I was so disappointed to find it was full of pips! Nell

I'll try anything, we very often have octopus and squid when I'm home. Other gastronomic delights include Aligator Ostrich Camel Shark Snails Lotus roots And apparently about 8 spiders whilst sleeping. :o) Derek
