22nd November 1997, Michael Hutchence was found dead in a hotel room. Same day as Christine, Lucia and my birthday.

Yes: sad for the German Air Force. The day the Third Reich lost the chance to win WWII. It was Battle of Britain Day, or at least an anniversary of it.

my 25th birthday - the day my dad chose to take his own life. guess i'll stay 25 for ever though as i'll never feel like celebrating again!

Emma.... I don't know what to say!! Mine is 19th August - the day Micheal Ryan went mad in Hungerford with a shotgun and killed lots of people including a friends Dad!! i always feel guilty celebrating it now!!

My son was born on the 15th March 1995.....two years to the day of my grandads funeral. I only realised a few years later when I came across an old diary. Elaine x

My uncle's birthday was Feb 6th.....the day King George VI died and the date of the Munich disaster (Man Utd) My husband's grandson married (in France) on August 30th 1997........the date of Di's crash. Rose

Well, it depends on how you look at it. My grandfather died on my 17th birthday. I am his eldest grandchild and his only grandaugher. We were quite close. But He had been suffering dreadfully from viciously aggressive lung cancer - it must have been oat cell looking back - and I feel like my birthday had the power to open the door to Heaven for him.
