oh meercat - I know - the advise I was given - let them do the top end first lol in case they use the same probe lol uncomfortable but well worth it to be given the all clear from really nasty stuff - what I have I can live with - literally! so I consider myself very very lucky. In the so called league tables of hospital performances for this type of procedure my area has the worse record in the UK - but they did their stuff - and quickly from being referred by the GP to the actual procedures was only a few weeks |

seems unsual that Dr will admit you to hospital with suspected bowel problems , and not have pelvic area examinations.... I wonder what they were looking at? What sort of ward was it that you were in BB? Gynae, medical, surgical... You say your Dr is treating you for IBS - He isn't...he is giving you pain killers to mask pain, IBS is 99% managed by diet (and only you can manage that) Who is the other appointment with ? Jess x |

I am just so surprise that your doctor has not suggested an exclusion diet- it is usually the first line of attack and causes no harm. If you are in pain most of the time and take pain killers they will surely mask the pain anyway? |
