agreed we could live on a Desert Island - and subsequently agreed to take a World Cruise still around? Now that WAS a laugh!!! and so many joined in too, we had great fun!!! Who remembers? It was a year ago - 13th August 2004 when I posted the original question - ''Could we members survive if we were marooned on a Desert Island?'' In view of the comments about the whinges etc. would we still make a good mix?

Lol, remember it well, I was the head gardner, who introduced Boris to the rest of the world, and then passed him on to that crazy cook Lindy. It was great fun wasnt it. And whiled away a good few hours each day.

Well, apart from the anniversary date niggling at my memory, I read about a new series that has been made for TV (In America), entitled LOST, about a group of people who are in a plane that comes down on a desert island ..... etc ..... etc. The plot sounds so similar to ours - they've even involved umpteen writers - and I thought - ''hang-on!!'' ...... at the time we were doing ours I commented that we should have copyrighted it!! I think it starts on TV next week.

They had better not have a pet crocodile. That would be too spooky.

I'm still around... I was with the 'crew' when the ship went down, and when the hotel started. What fun we had :)) Has anyone heard from that boss of mine 'Fat Lady Cook' Deb (AKA Sassy)

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 5 Aug 2005 18:40

Hi everybody !!!! (Waves) Oh we did have such fun didn't we!!! It was almost surreal when I think back - No, I haven't seen Lindy (Fat Cook) around - although she's perhaps not a fat cook now, as the last I saw she'd been on a diet. Boris is residing by my pond in the garden LOL

Hi Dorothy Yes it was good fun, but it took over my life ( actually it has changed my life ), as i spent hours sitting at my PC trying to keep up with the storyline. I started off as head of security on the cruise ship and ended up as chief consable on the island, and had a love hate relationship with that waste of space crocodile boris, i'm sure he's very happy in his new home.
