Reminds me so much of my other great cricket hero Ian Botham. Both giants in their sport. |

I am thinking of assassinating my next-door neighbour who listens to cricket (a ball game for adults) on a portable radio in his garden. len |

So, Dave, what's your prediction on this match? Lily |

Having watched the last few Overs of the second Test, can I ask why bowlers don't know that they have to make the final batsmen actually strike the ball? We could have won if we'd got a lucky catch! Lily (a tennis fan) |

All so close in the end but well done to the Aussies for that backs to the wall display.I think these two sides are now the best two in the World! Dave |

For England to lose, they're going to have to bowl very poorly. I think they can win it today but I can see it being a draw. However, the pressure is on Australia and one of their key batsmen (Clarke) has got back problems and has hardly played any part in the match. Game on. |

Yes it was nailbiting stuff best test Ive seen in a long time I didnt think we were going to win and when Harmison had the last man caught behind by the wicket keeper you could have heard me the other end of the Street.Well done England and well done Man of The Match Freddie Flintoff! Davex |

To say that was a nailbiting finish would be an understatement. Really thought we had blown it, but what a game, all credit to both teams for producing such an enthralling match, best one I've seen in a long while. Hopefully England will still be carrying that buzz through to Old Trafford on Thursday for the start of the next test; to have lost today after being on the brink of victory would probably have knocked the stuffing out of them. |

I reckon Freddie will get man of the match award for his two half centuries as well as taking six wickets (so far). Ponting will have been rueing putting England into bat first. Still, it isn't over yet - both Warne and Lee can be dangerous with the bat if they get settled but England should wrap this up from here with Australia still needing over 100 runs. |
