Just think of it as an up to date walkman - we all had those in the 80s didn't we ?

I think thats true for a lot of the mp3 players, but they should last a few years, and by that time I'll want to buy a new ones anyway lol

I wouldn't have an iPod given, cos apparentley(or so I've heard), once the batteries go, you can't replace them !!!!!

you MUST have seen them advertsised surely ? its a super suder mp3 player, the one I've got is about the size of a packet of cigarettes I guess, and can hold several thousand songs (you copy them from cd/download off the web onto your pc and then download them onto the iPod.

Well I've just set it up and downloaded my music library (I've been using iTunes for a while) from my laptop - just under 5gb, and to be honest that doesn't scratch the surface of whats at home. Could fill the 20gb easily.

Paul, I know the feeling, I've got 20GB and have used at least two-thirds of it. You can never have too much, lol.

Your going to enjoy it Paul. My son has a 20gb one and said that he can store 25 zillion songs, or something like that on it! He also has an attachment (looks like a cork screw) that goes on the bottom. He then tunes his car radio to a certain signal and the iPod plays over the car radio. Deb

Nice treat Paul :~D My son had one for christmas last, even though they're not big physicaly, I still found it a bit of a pain to carry round - you know us girls don't always have pockets. So I bought a 1gb mp3 player from Ebay which is the same size as a USB pen drive. It's Pink which I love and I can hang it round my neck on a string. Much better for me when I'm hoovering.... and the best bit it only cost me £44 !!!! When the music is saved in WMA format it can hold about 20 albums. It has an FM radio and can also record voice or radio. SO a neat little package :~D XX Sioux
