Yes. I use it when my eyes are puffy - it works a treat. I first heard about it on Emmerdale. Tricia was getting married to Marlon and said she needed some 'pile cream' to reduce her puffy eyes. Careful though. You only need a small amount . Because the skin is so thin around the eyes, it can sting a bit. Connie |

Bryan, If it's used by celebs EVERY time they appear in public, it can't be very effective! If it tightens everything up, how long before it all starts sagging again afterwards. (And how do YOU know?) I'm not buying it if it's a waste of money! LOL CB >|< |

OK - I admit it - I use pile cream on my face - Anasol actually. I use when I go out at night. Need moisturiser first cos it's dead thick and hard to spread. It's supposed to tighten every thing up. I hide it in my knicker drawer. I know you won't tell - would you?? |

Vodka also cures atheletes foot apparently...........I suppose that is handy to know in an emergency! Though quite when anyone is likely to have an atheletes foot emergency is beyond me............. you tend to feel it coming don't you? Mandy |

Sheila, You could be reeeaallly frugal and soak your feet in the vodka then put it in the screen washer of your car - it defrosts superbly and leaves a lovely shiny windscreen!!!!! maggie |

Thats ok then Sheila .......... just checkin! LOL This has just reminded me that I read years ago that American women were using a particular acne cream because a side effect was that it got rid of wrinkles. It was Retinol and they started to put it in cosmetics. BUT the strength that is used in the creams isn't anywhere near as effective as the acne cream. I met up with an old friend some time ago who's husband owns a Plastic Surgery Clinic and she swore by the full strength cream, she looked VERY good for her age and swore she hadn't had any surgery on her face (but I think she must have had her boobs lifted!) I didn't need it at the time but I think it's about time I had a chat with my doctor !!!!! Mandy |
