I'm so sorry Jeanette. I can imagine how upset you must be, but you gave your cat a long and wonderful life and she died peacefully. I hope that can be of some comfort. Lots of love Bev x |

Thanks everyone for your messages. The girls both had a good cry when we told them. Olivia made us laugh though cos as soon as she dried her eyes she was asking can I have a kitten/hamster/guinea pig? lol. I said we would think about it in a few weeks. I don't really like the idea of caged animals so a cat is the only option really. But I'm thinking if that cat lives for nearly 20 years, I'll be drawing my pension! Spanky is going to her resting place in Mum's garden tomorrow. We haven't had time today as we had to go and scatter Grandad's ashes, which all went very well - apart from Mum didn't see the waves coming in and got her feet wet! Jeanette x |

Hi Jeanette, just come onto the boards for the first time today. Is this Spanky we're talking about? Even though I didn't know her, it was a shock reading about her passing. I guess that's because I only saw her for the first time yesterday. So goodness knows how you feel. Come down to our house (in Devon, lol) - our 5 will give you some feline therapy. It's good that she has a burial place. Take care, Glenys x P.S. DOH - I didn't say that I hadn't read the replies; I've just seen your reply above. Sorry, having a Homer moment. DOH. |
