HI Karen My other half gave up in April cold turkey. His breathing was getting dodgy and he has a few medical conditions which made it worse. Plus his parents are life long smokers and in ill health. So every time he fancied one he concentrated on not wanting to be like his mum and dad in 20 years time and remembering how frightened he felt when his breathing was bad. Probably doesn't help but I thought I'd pass it on:) He smoked for over 30 years and has never had another since.

This is screwing my brain up so much... really honestly guys nicotine addiction is fighting with reason, its an unbelievable situation to be in.... its so unreasonable... and i promise i am on no other drug, but i wish i could explain how the two sides of my brain are fighting each other at the moment!! Karen

Ive been stopped for nearly 2 yrs but i stil feel tempted sometimes but i dont think i will start again cos its unbelievable how much better you feel not smoking and you dont put that much weight on if you dont pig out lol
