My neighbour phoned me at 8am (waking me from the 2 hours sleep I had managed last night) to say there was a man acting strangely round back in our 'private' car park. He had been there about an hour - his car was parked on my spare space - did I have anyone staying? She had already called the Police, so I popped next door to watch from her bedroom window ................. This guy was definitely not the full ticket - agitated behaviour - muttering and swearing etc. Then he wandered off up the road cos he had gotten his car bedded into the gravel - we're out front keeping watch when the cavalry arrive and apprehend him - apparently carrying a builders shovel back to try and dig his car out lol ............. All hell broke loose as he tried to resist arrest!! Have spent nearly 2 hours out there giving statements while they emptied the contents of his car etc - a chap from 2 roads down arrived to report he had also broken into his car and garage (found loads of his belongings in the car). Someone else had reported challenging him - and a neighbour of mine had their car broken into in our car park last night too............... apparently this guy is well known to the Police and our report has really helped them :O) Can't believe it - I wait all this time for some uniformed men and there I am in my sloppy tracksuit - sleep in my eyes - bed hair the lot .............. I think they were impressed LOL So - how have your mornings been ?? LMAO

Anne at least this way they know what they will get in the morning and anything else is a bonus. My motto if they like you with no makeup hair all over the place (as is the norm with me) then hang onto them. You never know they might come back for another statement later and you can be all dolled up or better still call them back saying you have remembered something!
