Vonny, When I was a kid I decided it would be easier if everybody had the same time as we did. Then I'd know if I could phone relatives abroad. My father did all he could to explain how impractical that would be using apples oranges and various other fruit to represent the earth, sun and moon. I still think it would work better if you all fell into line, lol, Gwynne

good morning all i had a few panicky days end of last week as my pc was broke but it seems ok now thank goodness :-)

Hi Lou, Glad the PC is OK. We lost our internet from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon. So I know the feeling. The weird thing is that when we go to Wales I don't miss it at all. Gwynne

hi gwynne wen we go away i do miss it but its not so bad as im in a diffent place but at home my natural instinct is to turn the pc on as soon as i walk in the living room................. last friday i went to a cyber cafe...........was an odd experience............. as i missed it so much !!!

Hi Lou, I think the reason I don't miss it may be that I'm usually working on the PC and browsing GR at the same time - and I don't miss the work! I need to get the work done early this week as the 1851 may be on ancestry soon. Gwynne

gwynne i dont know wat i did b4 i had the pc !!!!! i was worried that while i was offline the details of the re-arranged meet in bucks for gaynor wud b finalised and id miss it so i contacted dave asking him to txt me if it was sorted out :-)

I've had an exciting few days, I've found someone who's related to me and she is very nice, my parents are visiting and rumour has it that the 1851 census will be on Ancestry this week - Yippee!!!!!!! We are all getting excited about 1851 aren't we. I can't wait there is one family I really want to find. I am so curious as to where they were. People have searched around with so sign of them so I guess it will be some late nights searching. germaine x

I'm sure the rest of your day will be better :o) Gwynne, Since I first found out that the 1851 would be on before christmas, I have been resisting the urge to ask for look ups. So, I've got lots of people to find - it's going to be like christmas! Helenxx

Hi Diane, I'd prefer it if you didn't mention housework.................... Helen, I found nearly all my directs on census films at the LDS or recrod office. I have to say that I don't get quite the same thrill when I find people on ancestry. In ROs and the LDS there are others around who understand how pleased you are. Gwynne

morning all nice sunny morning ...ill be winding down to day after the shift i put in yesterday ....some people dont know when youve had enough... worked from 11am till 11-45pm and they still wanted more drinks i felt like telling them all to p... off home so i went instead i might find some more rellies as im stuck at the moment need to find some irish ones though hope you all have a good day ann xx
