it might just be me being a spotter kim but have you ever noticed how the word numeracy gets picked up by spell check! small things like that amuse me! lol!

You'll do it Paul!! I started my degree when I was 40, and despite having 2 hormonal teenage girls at home (they claimed they were my daughters!!) I think I found it less stressful than a lot of the younger students!! maggie

Brill Paul I work in Numeracy with little un's, while adult's do city & guilds in Numeracy upstairs with tutor, but sometimes help in Literacy. Love it! Good luck with the next 3 years, and beebie! Kim

ive done a year of OU, a year of work based learning and now ive got a year of work based/college to do before another 2 years of distance learning through greenwich uni. but i'll have a degree by my 40th birthday which was my aim.

the degree only takes 4 years but then i have to do a year of training to teach literacy to adults with a learning need. plus a study break for 6 months after chick has the baby. by the way maggie i proposed in prezzo in winchester!!
