Been to a number of new places - Paris (in March - freezing!) Washington DC Dallas ...and places in between Toronto Had our (American hire car) towed away Got a speeding fine Had my eyebrows shaped at a salon!

Been to an Int Conference of Volunteers from 13 countries throughout Europe, in Berlin. It was fascinating, and I was so impressed at all the work that was being done across the continent - we only hear of the bad things in the News, it warms your heart to know that a lot of people are working for the common good. Lily (who enjoys working with children)

I have become the legal guardian to a little boy at school in England,thousands of miles away from his own family,coping with a new language and new culture.It is wonderful and we have seen his confidence blossom. Rose

Helping out full time at school since January. Becoming a lunchtime assistant for 3 days a week and bringing in money for the first time since 1993. Elaine x

HI I met my uncle for the first time,he's 74 and lives in aussie.He was put in a childrens home so never knew any of is family.A friend of his who lives in England had started trying to find us and through me doing my tree also our paths crossed.We have a bit of making up to do now though,thank goodness for e.mail.
