Went to my local supermarket who were running a promotion for Kandoo produts. I was asked if I had any small children to try them out on, so felt quite good until I replied 'no' and was asked 'grandchildren then?' Daisy |

You have my sympathy. I am still fuming about a similar thing that happened to me years back. I was house sharing at the time. A knock at the door in the middle of the night turned out to be my house-sharer and a very irrate taxi driver. My friend had been sick in the taxi and the driver insisted that if my friend woudn't pay for the cleaning, as his mother, I was going to. Since I had trouble persauding publicans I was old enough to drink at the time, this still rankles. V |

Well Daisy..........you have made my day. If someone as lovely as you can be asked damned stupid questions....well! Allan had that when Tony was a baby. He was about 13 months and running around, Allan was taking him to the park and really enjoying being a daddy. A lady stopped to admire his baby, and said' you're always worse with your first aren't you? It's lovely being a grand parent isn't it?' Allan was ever such a good boy....he didn't hit her. Hi Daisy, What is a granny suppose to look like? I was a granny at 35 I am now 50 with 11 grandchildren dont feel any different now than then lol Regards June ps only Harassed lol |
