Up at 6.15 mon - fri due to having to get the boys and hubby up and in the shower for school/work. Weekend lie in is about 8am for me coz im so used to getting up early, i naturally wake up and toss and turn till i give in and get up about 8 ish. Long gone are my teens years of getting up at 1pm on a weekend.... Vikki xx

Hi Gwynne Like you I still wake early on these dark mornings, but have no 'Get up and Go'. Everything seems to take longer to do. Gwyn

Yeh Guinevere, luckily Mike is an earlybird too and in the light mornings we can get on. My sister's the same, doesn't like dark mornings. Lights are on everywhere!

Mornig Gwynne Morning All I don't like these dark morings at all feels like the middle of the night no matter what time. Sorry Harry is still poorly Diane. Poor little man I hope he is better soon. Hi Gwynne I find it hard to get going on dark mornings but I do like the dark nights when I can snuggle up in bed with a good book.

I've managed to get everyone to school. Just me and the chubby one at home and I now feel awake enough to say 'Good Morning' everyone and I hope you all have a good day. Helenxx

Hi Sally, I always wake early and in the summer can get quite a bit of work done but when it's dark my brain is like cotton wool. Gwynne

Ann I feel a lot better this morning... Harry still not so good, now got tummy ache-I think its all the coughing as I was the same about wednesday. He is missing school as well so we have been doing sums and spelling tests! Diane:))

I'm a morning person, and have to get up, I can't lie in bed - but these mornings are not for me - my third wish was for it always to be Spring and Summer in Engladn.

Julie, hope it;s nowhere near the A14, traffic was at a standstill last night, backed right into the Town here, even at 8pm it wasn't much better :( you take good care there :)

Morning Gwynne I`ve had trouble this week getting up as usual-I hate dark mornings . Harry & I have been ill all week so thats not helped plus broken sleep with both of us having coughing fits:(( Diane:))
