Yes you are right June. I won't go down that road would never stop me even now I get annoyed. At the time 3 of us were up for sale Cleveleys and Poulton. Poulton never got sold think the council took their side. We were offered the option to buy it ourselves. someone looked into it. NO WAY Germaine x the sub that took our place has had 3 owners is 11 years says it all.

The Crown Post Office in Fleetwood June. The one at Ash St. When it shut | took redundancy. Was offered a job at Blackpool head off ice but most off us didn't go took our money and ran. After a couple of month I was fed up and they got me aplace on their Post shop but didn't like working in Blackpool such a trail on the bus. So packed it in. the nw place offered us a job but it was for peanuts. Derek said No they will use they had staff with no training. Couldn't have took the hassle off customers. anyway don't have time to work now LOL Germaine x

Germaine, There are so many places being shut down these days, I dont think its always a good thing. Everything has gone computerised, there is none of the personal touch. Off me soapbox now, June xx

Wiil Do. It is the crowd from the P.O we all got made redundant in 1994 so it will be good to all get together. Some i have seen but one or two we haven't been in touch since we all left. We were a good team it was a pity when they shut the palce down. Germaine x

Good Morning Em and everyone. Its not dark now but it isn't light either. Last night I had a gedcom sent to me with about 1500 names, I have got most of threse names I think but will have to plough through it all to check. I also had 3 emails semt me with loads of names and notes on too so I will have to do the same with those. So now you know what I will be up to. Have a good weekend. June xx
