Love Looe in Cornwall, but there again have soft spot for Torquay as we spent our honeymoon there in 1957. We have been to so many seaside resorts since then ,some lovely some not so memorable, so cant say we have any particular favourite. Shirley

Hi Dave, Dawlish is lovely, but I love Devon and Cornwall is absolutely lovely. When I was a kid I loved Margate and Clacton-on-Sea, but that was more because of the memories of day trips to those resorts big Bank Holiday treat was that :-) Pat x

I like the Dorset resorts: Swanage, Bournmouth, and Weymouth. I also like Felixstowe, in Suffolk. I wouldn't recommend the latter to anyone with young children though - the beach is too stony. :-))

CALAIS ! If it was good enough for QE1 then its good enough for me. Only joking. Swanage. I was going to say Keswick but that's not seaside. David
