Same 1st name different person Sorry to here about your cat. I also have had three killed on the road over the years. Sounds a bit daft but got lovely stone which says 'here rests a good friend' which I placed over my old dog who had died. Say good morning to her when I walk the others. Might help the children to have a place to mourn so to speak. Everyone has a different view. Possibly in time you can rescue another cat from Cats protection at least then giving a poor soul a home.

So sorry to hear that. We've had one run over and killed and one that we think had a glancing blow which changed his personality, so I can sympathise. As someone has said, cats and cars don't mix! We only let the dogs off the lead well away from roads: our pair have no road sense either.

How very traumatic to come home & find him like that. We have two pussies now after deciding that we didnt want anymore when our ole mate' puss puss 'died of old age in 1997. Would be devistated to lose either one of them now. I know how upsetting it is to lose a mate(cos thats what they are) .& it must be more so to lose them to an accident. My sympathies are with you.
