My G Grandfather's middle name was Raffell. My gran used to say his parents won him in a raffle! Don't know where it comes from, I haven't found any others with that name - not even a surname. Most other men in the family had Gideon or Cleveland or Gustavus as middle names - one even had all three! My G Grandfather on my Dad's side had George Washington as his Christian names! Sue xx |
