There should be a paperclip at the top of your email which allows you to add attachments. Is that there? |

I didnt think u could use outlook anymore. It was too unsafe when it comes to password stealing programs. |

i thought microsoft put it beyond use because loads of little virus and buggy program thingys kept stealing passwords and sent an e-mail through outlook direct to the virus creater. Its safer to send emails through webpages. Harder to steal passwords, and they cant auto send e-mails. |

Paul, XP puts a block on attachments to stop malicious ones infecting your PC. I haven't heard of any stopping the use of Outlook (normal or express). Using the internet does not prevent viruses. If you do not have an up-to-date virus scanner, you can still be infected. |

Paul, I honestly don't know what you mean by ''blocked'', but you can still download it from the internet with IE. |

Babs, try this.. In outlook, go to Tools at the top Click on Options and a box should open up Click on the Security tab Under Virus Protection, take the tick out of the the box next to 'So not allow attachments to be opened' Click Apply and Ok then try to forward it again. If this works, go back and put the tick back in the box, so you are protected again once you've sent on your email. |

Sorry I misunderstood you, i thought youw anted to send an attachment with new e mail. if you just want to send an e mail with a attachment that you have received just forward the whole lot. failing that, copy and paste the attachment onto the new e mail. ann Glos |
