I know CBs name is Mary but when I answer her even by e mail I call her CB I feel comfortable with that and hope she does to! Sheila Wray everybody calls her She! but I always call her Sheila do you think Im contradicting myself? Its just what I feel comfortable with! Davex by the way I dont mind if anybody calls me David I quite like that my son even though he gets called Dave or Bennett by his mates is either David or Dids to me even though he is 6ft 2' and towers above me lol!

Ok if i call you Trish then? my sister is called Patricia and all my life I have called her Tricia, but recently everybody calls her Pat I dont she is always Tricia and doesnt expect anything else from me! Davex

lol Dave - its short for She who must be obeyed lol Back in Scotland my friends called me Shiels but Paul called me She right from the start and I feel comfy with it. My son is called David and most people call him Dave - but I cant lol my daughter is Anna-Marie but has always been called Annie - unless I am trying to be serious lol

Carry on Dave. I used to get called Pat when I was little but never really liked it. Don't like my middle name either so can't use that one.

I answer pm's with my own name, but everyone still calls me Lemon or Nelly. I am quite happy with that, as I like the name, if I met anyone I don't think they would think it was me now if they called me my given name xxxx

dave my mum has never shortened any of our names but dad has a nick name for all of us lol my dads uncle,bless his soul,always called me susiewong and i hate to say it,but it has stuck!! my brothers new girlfiend even asked me wat my real name was as my brother only ever calls me wong!! he even puts that on my birthday card!!! susie

Hi Dave I don't mind Jenny, Jen, JenJen but keep Jennifer as my getting told off name! Did feel a bit daft ringing Mommylonglegs and saying 'Hi, it's Jen Red and Purple here', felt even dafter declaring it at the Pompey meet! xx Jen

I know what you mean Dave, I think all of us have these little quirks - for instance I always refer to Diana as Diana and not Pink like most do - and Donna rather than Strump.

LMHO Serves you right for having a silly name Jen ;-))) Should be like me Pat Going Around in Circles, Circular Pat or Pat in Circles any will do lol. I don't like Patricia (thats my telling off name) not keen on Trish or tricia but will answer them but will not to Patsy or Patty. I know what you mean about CB Dave I actually prefer it as I do BC as in Buttercup not Before Christ LMHO. ;-) Pat x

Yes it is strange, I call Mommylonglegs Jenny, always, and strump I call Donna, Diana nearly always Diana (very occasionally Pink) regardless of what her current name is. Mary is CB, Sheila Wray is always She, Buttercup is BC. It is funny at 'meets' to ehar people introduce themselves and I found myself saying 'hi I'm Ann from Glos'. Ann Glos

Ann I tend to call Mommylonglegs Mommy Jenny wouldn't mind but we are the same age lol. Sometimes call Diana Diana Pink & call Strump mostly Donna, I call Steph Steedie or Steph lol. but I do like calling Daisy Daisy as it makes me smile that name I love it :-))) Pat x

Yes CB is CB even though she is called Mary but do you know I had a little fall out with her when I first got to know her about it, all over now she is a very good mate and confidante and is a special lady on these boards and Im glad to see her back. Dave

If we had a massive meet and everyone used their real names now....I would be a ball of confusion....sorry but I would. You would all need badges with both names on xxxx
