Ooer, don't know where I fit here, I love both Coconuts and Parsnips, and of course there is Parsnip Wine, often made by our Ancestors! :)

Thanks for the songs, CB and Pat. I think we have proof that coconuts are a Good Thing as songs have been decicated to them. And they are very useful for making Pina Colada. Where would Barry Manilow be without that song? Is there a cocktail made with parsnip milk? I think not. Gwynne

I have Coconut Palms in my garden!!!! The mats are made from the stuff (technical term there!) around the trunk!!! lol Taste good though but I also like parsnips!!! Jacquie xxxx

Coconuts, parsnips, brussels sprouts, cabbage and broccoli are all good for you and I like them all, but not necessarily eaten in the same meal! nell

obviously coconuts are better than parsnips. You can't make mats from parsnips, you can't make clip clop noises there arn't songs about parsnips they haven't got milk you don't win them at the fair the only good thing about a parsnip is if one hit you on the head it wouldn't hurt! Claire

Coconuts and parsnips are equal...a marriage made in heaven! Parsnip curry made with coconut milk, spicy parsnip soup with cocnut milk instead of cream, parsnips mashed with coconut cream...yum yum yum! And WHAT exactly is wrong with yummy, fresh, baby sprouts, no water, microwaved in a zippy bag for 3 mins - bliss on a plate! (Cant stand carrots, though, think I O.D'd on them as a child, mum was an unimaginative cook) Olde Crone

Eh you lot............ Leave Broccoli alone. Stick it in a steamer- only 10% of vitamins lost as compared to 80% in a microwave- after 10 mins theyre spot on-bloody good for you,and not expensive. Sprouts are poo though
