messed about with one back in 1984.it spelt a name sidney but we all thought someone else on the table moved the glass.no one knew of a sidney and someone mentioned could be sydney australia still no one knew anything to do with australia.two of the table users died at an early age,i was close once too.and then a man called sidney interfere`s in my life in 2002.use`s two identie`s and dates of birth, iffey marriage`s and failed to turn up at court twice,on two separate case`s,made threats against me.went to see a physic who told me to stay off the internet,if i had taken that advice,i`d never of known half the stuff i do now,or maybe i should have stayed off because it has taken over my life.lots of other odd stuff happened.my advice stay away,i`m still sceptical or i try and make other reasoning`s or put down to coincidenses rather than believing. derek |

Heather, I went to a spiritall developement course and have seen mediums demonstrate on table tilting.. and ouiji board........ it was explained that mediums have guides who help them...... but that as there are all types of people then there are all types of spirit including those you would not want to have known when alive.........when the general public use the board they do not have a guide and any unwelcome spirit can get involved....................what I was often told in spiritualism was that you take what you believe and disregard what yiu dont |

Hi Lou Lou Yes Ive done it, when we were teenagers my friend was terrible for them, we were always at it. One night we had a go and told my friend to take her hand off the glass as she was putting to much pressure on it thinking it was her who was making it move. Anyway it spelt out her name and said she would die when she was 18, we just laughed it off at the time, saying it was one of us messing about. When my friend was 18 she said to us all look im still here, but she did die when she was 18. That was 30 years ago and Ive never touched one since. Although have often wondered if I did have a go now would I get in touch with any ancestors. Dont go there Lou Lou, you might hear something you dont want to. Regards Yvonne |

So what is the conclusion please? If you go to a spiritualist church you cant be infiltrated by evil spirits because the medium is controlling them? |

Yes I've used one, and would do one again. But only with a expierience medium present. And would never advise anyone to do it without one. Paul. |

As a student many years ago we tried ouija boards, levitation and other things for a laugh. I recall the levitation appeared to work but have no other recollections and I'm still here lol Ken xx |

If ur looking for answers try ur local spiritual church. U will find an honest medium through them. It is trial n error to find a good medium. But please stay away from the darker side of things x karie x |

I once belonged to a group of people interested in the reach of the mind. The group included a lady doctor and a rabbi. I am a qualified accountant. Another was a croupier and there was also Princess Margaret's hairdresser. There were others, maybe about 8 altogether. We were all quite serious and not given to trickery but well qualified to spot any. We used a room at the Spiritualists Association headquarters in Belgrave Square, London. We tried a ouija (from French oui, German ja =yes/yes) board under controlled circumstances, which included formal prayers from those who were so minded. We wanted proof, not personal messages. The results were quite startling and impressive. I have met other people who have tried it in their homes, more casually, who had to get professional help to rid their house of poltergeist and other activity. By all means see a medium but in my opinion only about 5% of them are genuine. Len |

Used Ouiji boards twice ( within 10 years ) with different people Each time, someone around the table was pushing the glass, but wouldn't admit it. Very Sceptical. |

This is what worries me. I would love to go to a clairvoyant meeting to see if my dear dad or mum can send me a message, but say you open yourself to some evil spirit? |

Have had 2 experiences with the board, first time at a party years ago, must have stirred something up because the glass literally blew up, exit board, the second time was in a WRNS barracks, my job was looking after the boilers being a stoker, we used to have a go with the board in the Galley rest room. One young Welsh girl had,had a bad time with her stepfather before he died and during one session in which she was involved the word HATE YOU, then her name came up, the glass went mad spinning round the board before it flew off, crashing into the wall and smashed, strangely enough that was the last time we tried it. Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!! Len |

We tried one once when we were young for a laugh. Now I wouldn't mess with the things dangerous. My 2 nieces did one one night after work it frightened them so much they would never talk about it and won't go near one again. Leave the spirits to the people who know what they are doing. I say.
