has anyone done a ouiji board on here?even though im not sure if i believe in ghosts etc i darent and wouldnt do one im too scared!what are your experiences of ouiji boards?

No experience of them - I wouldn't go anywhere near one.

Yes, once. My friends and I can't have been doing it correctly because nothing happened. We ended up pushing the glass around by ourselves to make silly comments.

Please do not have any thing to do with them !

Me like Roxanne, used the Ouiji boards nearly fourty years ago, and would never ever go near one again, a lot of what it said would happen, then happened, quite bad things as well. I have made my three grown up kids promise never to go near one, they are not a game, and should never ever be used as one, very dangerous stuff, stay well away........Lilly

Only mucking about with one at school with a lot of half-hysterical females. I think most of us have enough trouble communicating with the living, without trying to get in touch with spirits!!!!!!!! nell

Hi Loulou The problem with ouija boards is you could open gateways for anything to come through!! evil spirits can use these gateways to pass through and cause havoc i would not personally use one although i have tried once many years ago Love Helenxx

id never use one it frightens me just watchin people on tv doin them or seances

Yes i have, i was facinated i have to say. and i know it works, as something was spelled out about my closest friend who was there with me that not even i knew about, she told me when we left about it and said she had never never mentioned it to anyone before. ShirleyAnn

We tried one once when we were young for a laugh. Now I wouldn't mess with the things dangerous. My 2 nieces did one one night after work it frightened them so much they would never talk about it and won't go near one again. Leave the spirits to the people who know what they are doing. I say. Have had 2 experiences with the board, first time at a party years ago, must have stirred something up because the glass literally blew up, exit board, the second time was in a WRNS barracks, my job was looking after the boilers being a stoker, we used to have a go with the board in the Galley rest room. One young Welsh girl had,had a bad time with her stepfather before he died and during one session in which she was involved the word HATE YOU, then her name came up, the glass went mad spinning round the board before it flew off, crashing into the wall and smashed, strangely enough that was the last time we tried it. This is what worries me. I would love to go to a clairvoyant meeting to see if my dear dad or mum can send me a message, but say you open yourself to some evil spirit?

I agee with Jackie Heather. Try going to the Spiritualist Church if nothing else it will make you feel better after this last few weeks. Germaine x

Used Ouiji boards twice ( within 10 years ) with different people Each time, someone around the table was pushing the glass, but wouldn't admit it. Very Sceptical.

I once belonged to a group of people interested in the reach of the mind. The group included a lady doctor and a rabbi. I am a qualified accountant. Another was a croupier and there was also Princess Margaret's hairdresser. There were others, maybe about 8 altogether. We were all quite serious and not given to trickery but well qualified to spot any. We used a room at the Spiritualists Association headquarters in Belgrave Square, London. We tried a ouija (from French oui, German ja =yes/yes) board under controlled circumstances, which included formal prayers from those who were so minded. We wanted proof, not personal messages. The results were quite startling and impressive. I have met other people who have tried it in their homes, more casually, who had to get professional help to rid their house of poltergeist and other activity. By all means see a medium but in my opinion only about 5% of them are genuine. Len
