He has been in the wars yet again. Helping friend all afternoon. Something to do with car cylinder head. Friend had make shift light. Apparently infra red catering light. One that goes over carvery??? After a few hours he has very watery eyes and pain. Rushed to hospital, seen straight away. He has only gone and burnt his eyes badly. Just arrived home and tells me where he has been. home with frozen eyes, told to have a drink and hope he can sleep. As if he wakes up in the night he could be in bad pain. I just do not know what to do with him. How on earth did I produce such a stupid child. Jenny x******** After a painfull night, Son is now back at hospital. He has no vision in one eye, and other is very impaired. Sitting here worried sick waiting forr hubby to phone and let me know whats happening. Absolutley Christmas Crackered, have had no sleep, and worried sick, in case he has really done it this time and damaged his sight. Jenny x*******************He is back home, thank Goodness. More drops in eyes to freeze and kill the pain. Only superficial damage done., as far as they can see. Antibiotics given to control any infection. Told once again to try and sleep 'off the pain' |

Mines nearly 18 and im learning that the only thing you can do is cross your fingers and hope that theyve taken in some of what youve tried to tell them. Im rapidly starting to realise what my poor mam had to put up with :-) |

Know how you feel. My son is always tripping over and banging his forehead. Trouble is every time he's done it (6 times to date), he's always bumped the exact same place. His forehead is now an odd shape. A lump on the right hand side. Took him to hospital every time, just surprised he hasn't cracked his skull. Boys who'd have them. LOL |

Trouble is he is 22 yrs old. Due for his second operation on his wrist at the end of the month. In pain with tooth. Been to the dentist today and has choose to have tooth out instead of Root canal treatment. ( Mind you dont blame him) But has to wait ten days for appointment to have the extraction. He was born on his Dad's Birthday. Suppose he could take after him, but sadly his Dad died when Son was only three. Just wish his Dad could send a message from Heaven, preferably a Bloody good Kick up the bum. Actually he is quite the opposite off his Dad. Sorry to sound off, but I really have had enough of his stupidity. Jenny x |

Jenny - these boys of ours.. Met up with my 23 year old today at the betting shop he manages, as he was cashing up. Haven't seen him for weeks as I have been away and he is always busy. He is sporting a Mohican haircut with a central 1' crest and then two shaved strips either side, then a smaller crest each side and then the rest shaved, with longish shortcut sideburns. Looked at from the wrong angle he looked like the devil standing there with two horns! I love him dearly but he is always full of different schemes and dreams - now wants to give up his job and start his own business, with hardly any money to back himself and thinks he will start earning immediately. I am not in a position to help him financially and his father doesn't keep in touch, he's abroad (foreign) and I worry so much that he will get into loads of debt. What would you do with them - they were less trouble as toddlers. |
