Forget vinegar and sauce - I like mine with mint jelly

Actually that is not a bad idea. I will be off to the Alverstoke Chippy, which is, in my humble opinion, THE BEST CHIPPY IN GOSPORT. I wonder if they will give me a free gherkin now that I have advertised them?

Ah the Rugby Widow whose husband played with his odd-shaped balls. Are you coming to the chippy too?

Trish

Hmmmm Gosport is a bit far to go for a chippy - even if you do recommend them.

Oh Crumbs, I don't want extra people coming into Gosport to the chippy. The main road gets too congested as it is. Get off you lot. Find your own best chippys. Alverstoke is mine, do you hear? Mine, mine, all mine, hysterically laughing exits stage left.

Ok Jim, OK. LOL. You can keep your rotten chippy - we've got a really good one right here on our doorstep - don't even need to take the car out as it's a 5 minute walk. It's actually run by some Greek bloke - bestest chip maker in the world.

I hate those reformed frozen chips. A true chip should be made from slices of real fresh potato, not that chip-shaped moulded mash of potato, preservatives, salt, preservatives, colour and preservatives which so many do out of 'Convenience' these days. Oven chips? No thank you Mr McCain.

Very true JIm - preferably made with real beef dripping. Goes perfectly with my mint jelly.

Minty Jellyfish? Sounds somewhat...er...er...different?
