I am doing a whistle-stop tour of the grand duchy of Notts just before christmas. I wondered if anyone would like to meet up with me in the city centre for a little drink and get together on thursday 22 december day or evening. I have a babysitter and can understand a bus timetable so if you want to go somewhere a bit more sulubrious I don't mind. |

well I will be coming from Bingham. Hopefully I will have the car though. I'll get a bus if its city but can drive if not. Whats the Sherwin arms (blind stab in the dark lol) like these days? Never been in but looks a nice pub. |

There is that pub near Wilford Hill cemetery. Used to be called Nottingham Knight. Think you can get a bus up there. If anyone wants to do a spot of drunken ancestor searching afterwards lol |

Any advances on Nottingham knight? Keep nudging then for some more people to come. If you can pick anyone up that hasn't got a car that would be helpful. I think the bus to Asda goes up that way. |
