just have fun! glitter, glue, lego, softplay (big squishy stuff to roll around on), bouncy castle, face paint, dress up, music... but I had to let the real kids join in. I was a playworker on an old converted double decker bus that drove out to poorer estates, parked up and provided 2 hours of fun for the kids for 30p. it was a fab job, low pay though in charity sector. xx Jen

My son makes architectural models - that's not just cutting up cornflakes packets and sticking them together with Pritt stick. LOL He takes architects' drawn plans of buildings and transfers them onto computers to form 3-D images to scale, then translates the images into the required form, using wood, plastic, metal, glass, or whatever material the client chooses. It's very time-consuming, intricate work and involves sculpting with scalpels, etc, moulding plastics and using various cutting machines. He also makes the baseboards, including fake grass, trees, cars, people, etc, that the model buildings stand on, as well as the perspex covers that go over the top of them. CB >|<
