I still suspect that someone is complaining, wouldn't surprise me at all, but I'll never know, so there's no point worrying about it. I'll just have to keep being 'persistent' ! |

I know what you mean, it amazes me too, but you have to laugh eh ? The thing is, I know it's against GR rules to as for money, whether its for commercial or charitable purposes - but surely some rules are meant ot be broken now and then ? Considering what goes on on here at times, I think they perhaps have their priorities wrong... |

I cant understand it Paul, It just seems very odd that these threads would be deleted, I can think of a few that would be more of a priority to delete!!lol |

Another thread bites the dust ! Anyway... almost had a disaster today. Had the helium for thr balloon release delivered to my parents yesterday as I was 'out of town'. Went to pick it up this morning... and it was the wrong size ! They'd only delivered enough gas for 200 balloons. One swift phone call and a 10 mile drive later and I managed to get there just before they shut to pick up the one I needed - PHEW !!! On the bright side, the chap knocked off £20 for my inconvenience, which means £20 more to the charity :) |
