I only find it a problem when the cats & dog rip everything else under the tree to get to their pressie, that'll teach me to buy gifts with catnip in! |

Hi Mandy :-))) I have two kitten Christmas stockings for my little ones. I wouldnt do it every year but my daughter has insisted they get one each for their first Christmas :-) Well if we are stupid there's a lot of us around I think, as there are loads of stockings and stuff in the shops trouble is where I live there is so little for cats but tons of stuff for pups and dogs :-( Cats are not as popular. She, I should think so too - after all, you are their godmother!! They have got an advent calendar each, a 'Good Boy' stocking each, and a food mat each with their names on. Then of course there were the puffa jackets that arrived yesterday and they have to wear because of the cold (can't wait till Christmas for them). Mandy :)))) |

Not at all....I think it's sweet. I had to stop wrapping my dogs presents up as she guarded them and wouldn't let anybody pass her bed. Also she couldn't enjoy her treats. Silly dog, she is a manic-depressive and very moody. Not a bit like me I'm just manic!!! Beryl :))) |

Pat - I used to make up parcels for Eric Because my cat in Scotland - but he DID insist on eating the chocolate decorations from the tree. Cats have more personality ddont they :-) Mandy - they have to share remember lol |

yup, we do that as well, mind you it's quite amusing watching them 'unwrap' the presents. ;) Only one to think of this year though. |

Jan, I loooove those gorgeous M&S blankets! They are giving Mum & Dad a lovely present though (for those that haven't been following the story, we are 'permanently fostering' their pup lol) - we found a local artist who specialises in pet portraits. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! Mandy :) |

If you are, then based on this thread there are a lot of us. My cats have mini stockings, usually with a small catnip toy. They get a new collar each year. We don't get them edible treats anymore because they turn up their noses at them (and boy, are cats good at that!) RW |

We don't buy Holly our cat presents because she is not the slightest bit interested, getting a bit too old to play and only eats the food that comes out of her packets or off our plates!!! Doesn't like treats etc so it would be wasted. but of course you are not stupid. Ann Glos |

Well I'm very reassured to know that all you pet owners buy them Christmas pressies! It was while I was wrapping them and writing the tags that I wondered if I might be getting a bit daft in my old age lol! They love ripping up newspaper so I reckon they might have a great time with the Christmas paper! Not quite sure what's going to happen when the tree goes up .. they are very bouncy, springy pups lol! Mandy :) |

Mandy, although it's 15 years since we last took on a pup (current one is one we got from a rescue centre, when aged 2), their teeth are like needles at that age, there's a wooden stool still lurking around the house somewhere that's never been quite the same since. ;) |

Andy, tell me about it! I didn't realise what they were doing under the dining table, until I saw that they'd nearly gone right through the bars of the chairs!!! A friend told us to put oil of cloves around, and it does seem to work (althouth you have to remember to keep reapplying it!). Mandy :) |
