Marie - Hello! Soo pleased I met her ( and Jody - phwoar!! - I wanted a souvenir of NZ to bring home and she wouldn't flippin' let me bring him!!) I think we got on because we're all daft - including Dewi the rocket cat - he whizzed about like the Road Runner! Had a lush meal with them on Saturday night - a great end to a great holiday - hope to see them again next time we visit - or if they come here they're going to visit us - mad fools - they haven't tasted my cooking! LOL Mags xx

Warming up nicely! The mittens are off - but GAWD! - the loo seat don't arf get cold after 5 weeks of not much heating! LOL Had an hour or so snooze earlier (VERY cold sheets!) - had Phil wake me up so I could go back to 'normal' by going to bed now'ish - that's all the sleep I've had since Saturday evening your time, so pretty washed out! We 'lost' 13 hours on the way back - I keep having to check what day it is! Talk about confused!! Mini GB enjoyed herself too - got one or two photos I'll put up later. She's been 'living' in the side of the video camera carrier - just happened that Phil was carring it coming through Auckland on the way back - had to put her on the xray machine thingy - and the bloke asked Phil if she was his! LOL Had some wonderful new exeriences/sights etc. ( we won't mention putting bubble bath in the double ended spa bath in one of the motels we stayed at! LOL LOL - it said bath GEL honest! - Think they're probably still mopping up!) We had a great time - when my brain starts to function properly I might remember most of it - bit like a tee shirt I nearly bought: 'At my age, I've done it all, seen it all, experienced it all....Just don't remember it !' Thanks for the welcome home! Mags xxx

I had a wonderful time thanks - saw and did things we didn't do last time we were over there. We had planned a helicopter trip landing on the Franz Josef Glacier - ME in a helicopter - can you imagine? LOL - but the cloud was too low in the afternoon we arrived for them to fly - and it was emptying down with rain in the morning - so we never got to do that. Took in Mount Cook on the drive to Wanaka - the same problem! So much low cloud , it reduced it to a hill! - Never mind. Better luck next time. We flew down to Christchurch rather than Wellington as planned - just as well - Melanie says it's so windy there - the planes come in sideways!! I am not the world's best flier. Thanks for the reminder Jean - not! LOL - Couldn't get into the swing of things over there. Wearing vest tops didn't go with Christmas decorations somehow! Mags xx
