my poor old printer 'died'... so on sunday we went to look around for a new one. today at 4 pm, we went back to buy one i had seen in pc world. there they were, neatly piled up by the entrance .... with a large [ 6' x 4' ]sign above them... saying reduced from £99.99 to £69.99. BUT.... at the till they registered at £99.99....... i was told that the lad had forgotten to remove the sign at 7 pm the night before. when i complained someone went off to speak to the manager..... he returned to tell me it was £99.99..... needless to say, i left without the printer.... and will not be returning !!!! sue.

Sue, If it is displayed at £69.99, they have to sell it to you for that, even if someone has made a mistake. Stand your ground cos you are in the right. My sister got a bargain tele that way. Janice

I would have thought they would have gladly given you the printer to get you out of the shop ;-) Especially if you knew you wouldn't be able to drown your sorrows in a bucket of lambrini LOL Never mind better luck next time. I had a tooth out last week :-(so you have my sympathy on that Sue. Pat x

lol frances.... still feel a bit peeved though ! the only member of staff who was helpfull was the security guard, he was lovely. i think i must have picked a bad day though, because all the young sales staff seemed to be busily engaged in chatter with each other... maybe last night was their xmas night out , eh ? ooooh haddocky one.... you know me so well ! [ if i had not known argos had it at that price, you would have heard my screams in hull !!!] pmsl, sue.

Sorry to hear about the tooth Sue. Is the anaesthetic wearing off now and does it feel like jelly when you stick your tongue in it! lol. Could you just try gargling and slooshing the lambrini round the affected part! lol

Hiya Sue :-) Blimey no one ever knocked me out to get a tooth out? Except when I was about 7 years old they took one out under gas, that was a horrible experience. I think that's a good idea Jeanette, I do that with Guinness LOL Pat x
