Jill, My son, just learning to read, and I were waiting at a bus stop when he began to sound out words on the ads. I was too late to stop him when he got to the graffitti - and then asked what it meant. Oh I should take your hubby on at a music quiz one day!! I get a bit like that too sometimes....dont like it when I know the answer and the quizmaster says something different...I will come home and look it up so I can prove them wrong too!! lolol Yes I prefer the album version too....wondered which version he would sing!! lol (pre watershed tho so I guess not!) Quick wee funny story about the album version....on holiday at a caravan this year my 8 year old daughter and I were up dancing at the disco one night and James Blunt - You're Beautiful came on....lifted her up so we could have a laff and a smoochy dance together....well little did I know that she knew the words of the Album version and she sang it too!!! Ahem!!! lol Ever since then, when we hear the song, we have a wee private sneaky knowing look at each other now!! Needless to say she is not aloud to sing the album version!!! lolol |

Don't laugh. It's a real strain..................... When we get back from quizzes he can't wait to google and prove the question master wrong. You raise me up sounds like a cross between Danny Boy and You are the Wind beneath my Wings with bits from Mary's Boy child thrown in. Does anyone else think that? - I really thought it was Danny Boy the first time i heard it playing in a shop.
