Penny It's just incredible - I can't believe what I am seeing!! Can't help but think this will have an effect on fuel prices and related things like - flight prices etc ................ Just hope they get it under control and everyone is okay - but I guess that could take days !!! |

Woke us up in Hatfield and blew our bathroom door shut just after 6 a m - and we're nearly 20 miles away. We've now got thick smoke drifting all over the place - smells awful! CB >*|*< |

Ann, On BBC News 24, someone was reported as saying they heard a plane overhead shortly before the explosion, but that is unconfirmed by official sources. We certainly didn't hear one - we were asleep until the first big explosion woke us. >*|*< |

well,i live in south london,and i heard and felt,what was like a mild earthquake,followed by my windows shaking,so i knew something had happened,put tv on,and just waited for some news,really glad i wasn't nearer,but sorry for those that were. bryan. |
