There's only me and my hubby. We always have a breakfast - Scrambles eggs and smoked salmon. Then we pop next door for a drink while dinner is cooking. In a bit of a pickle this year - we have been invited to friends early evening and they are laying on food, so what do I do for Christmas dinner that's light? I know that we could skip breakfast, but we need to have something to soak up the early Christmas beverage. Lin

Excuse me Jules - when you say your husband 'bought a baby' and was feeding it up for Christmas - I hope you are refering to a baby turkey? :))) Lin
